Balancing family and career in the best possible way: at REINTJES, this is one of the major issues. How do we manage it? Among other things, through our company daycare center. It is called Kleiner Eugen and has been located directly on the REINTJES premises in Hameln since it was founded in 2014.

The opening hours are based on the needs of our employees and are between 7 a.m. and 4:30 p.m. Monday through Friday. In many cases, parents in our team can conveniently drop off their child at the daycare center before work in the morning and pick them up again after work in the afternoon.

Childcare is possible from the age of ten months, with a curriculum that ranges from language and movement education to learning about nature and the environment, as well as musical and creative activities.

We have the Association of Evangelical Lutheran Daycare Centers in the Hameln-Pyrmont Church District on board as a strong partner with a wealth of experience in the field of education.

In 1962, Eugen Reintjes set up the non-profit Eugen Reintjes Foundation. Since then, our company has been part of this foundation, which is dedicated to health and social services in the city of Hameln.

Among other things, it runs a daycare center for children in the old town and is based in the Eugen-Reintjes-Haus in the center of Hameln. The building also houses various other services in the areas of counseling, sports and culture.

The Eugen Reintjes Foundation also runs the Family in the Center initiative.
