Works Council

Our works council represents the employees. Consequently, it champions the concerns of our workforce.

For example, the works council ensures that the provisions and regulations set out in our collective agreement and our company agreements are adhered to. These include, for example, flexitime and our company closure on bridging days.

It also has a say in many other matters, including hiring, firing, reclassification and transfers. But its range of responsibilities is much broader.

Elections take place every four years, always between March and May.

Youth and Trainee Council

In addition to our works council, REINTJES also has a youth and trainee council.

The youth and trainee council is an important point of contact for all matters relating to work and training.

This means that both the trainees themselves and our trainers can seek advice on a range of issues here.
