What are your responsibilities as a Development Engineer at REINTJES?

In a nutshell, I manage and oversee all of REINTJES’s additive manufacturing projects. As part of this, I carry out simulations and design work on our XXL 3D printer and am responsible for path planning and planning welding tests.

What challenges does the job involve and what is special about it?

The job is very varied. My responsibilities range from technical management and implementation to administrative tasks and plant engineering. That makes it incredibly exciting, and I learn something new every day. However, as it’s a research project, there are sometimes problems that I have to solve. That’s challenging.

What sets REINTJES apart?

There’s a very friendly, family-like atmosphere at REINTJES, and I also enjoy doing things with my colleagues outside of work. There’s a great exchange of expertise across teams, and I always get support whenever I have any questions.
