Future Day was a resounding success – tomorrow’s employees visit REINTJES

Motivated children, personalised projects and a genuine glimpse into the workplace: there was plenty going on at this year’s Future Day. A total of 37 children of REINTJES employees and families from the local area arrived punctually at 7.30 am on the company premises.

Over the next six hours, tomorrow’s potential team members gained fascinating insights into two apprenticeship roles at the REINTJES Academy. They also had the chance to take a closer look at the workshops and equipment.

The result was 37 individual, illuminated name badges and just as many mobile phone holders. Once the work was done, the children enjoyed a shared lunch.

Future Day then concluded with a tour of the production facilities and the odd question or two about what the situation is actually like at REINTJES regarding apprenticeship places.
