New Head of Service Department at REINTJES: Thomas Haferkorn takes over vacant position

REINTJES GmbH continues to work on its own future personnel strategy. An important step: Thomas Haferkorn has been the new Head of Service since 1 June 2025.

The 39-year-old has been responsible for service sales as team leader for the past two and a half years and has also held various positions at the Hameln-based company for many years.

Extensive expertise and experience

He completed an apprenticeship and a dual degree programme at REINTJES starting in 2005, then worked as a sales manager until mid-2015, and finally returned after several years as a custom account manager at other companies.

‘Thomas Haferkorn has extensive expertise and knows the industry and our company in detail. He is therefore exactly the right man for this position and will make an important contribution,’ explains REINTJES CEO Klaus Deleroi, adding with satisfaction: ’With him, we have found the ideal candidate for the position of Head of Service, which had been vacant for some time.’

The new Head of Service is now responsible for everything from spare parts to service technicians – and sees time as the biggest challenge. ‘The customer doesn’t really have time to wait for us to come up with a solution – regardless of whether they just need a spare part or a technician needs to be called out.’

Thomas Haferkorn likes to spend his free time away from work with his family or on his bike.
