Record year for REINTJES: Hameln-based company expands team and increases turnover

This is unprecedented in the more than 140-year history of REINTJES: the Hameln-based company has increased its turnover by more than 13 per cent compared to the previous year.

‘We have had a truly record-breaking year in 2024 – at all levels,’ says REINTJES Managing Director Klaus Deleroi, his delight clearly evident.

135 million euros in turnover

Despite the tense economic situation in many places, REINTJES once again achieved growth.

The turnover of the group, which includes REINTJES GmbH, based in Hameln, Lower Saxony, and eleven subsidiaries around the world, rose to 135 million euros in 2024.

In 2023, which was also a successful year, this figure was €119 million.

‘This development is completely contrary to the general trend in mechanical engineering. But the shipbuilding market is growing strongly worldwide and we are growing with it. However, this means a lot of hard work with a strong team and a great deal of commitment,’ says Deleroi, looking back on 2024.

Personnel growth too

Speaking of the team: here too, the curve is pointing clearly upwards. ‘Last year, we hired a total of 65 new people,’ says Deleroi.

And the REINTJES boss emphasises: ‘We are still looking for people who are keen to make a difference with us in the field of maritime propulsion technology.’

Anyone interested in applying to REINTJES can now do so conveniently via the career website.

Development benefits Hameln

The town of Hameln also benefits indirectly from the good economic situation of the REINTJES company. The reason for this is simple: the company belongs to the Eugen Reintjes Foundation. This foundation is based in Hameln and supports charitable projects in the health and social services sector there.

When REINTJES does well, so does the foundation, because the company distributes funds to the Eugen Reintjes Foundation, which in turn invests them in measures for child and youth welfare, elderly care and similar causes.
