Sustainable business: EcoVadis Silver Medal for REINTJES

REINTJES GmbH has once again been certified by EcoVadis this year. And the result is once again impressive.

This time, we achieved a silver rating instead of bronze, representing an even better sustainability assessment.

“With this result, we rank amongst the top 15 per cent of companies assessed by EcoVadis in the twelve months leading up to our award. It makes me proud that we are all working together on sustainability across various areas of our company,” says REINTJES Managing Director Klaus Deleroi.

EcoVadis assesses companies’ sustainability management across four sectors: the environment, labour and human rights, ethics, and sustainable procurement.

The assessment takes into account, amongst other things, policies, measures and supporting evidence. The current rating is valid until August 2027.

For the re-assessment, the ESG project team at REINTJES gathered the necessary information from the various departments and coordinated the process.

“Compared with last year, we have improved from Bronze to Silver. This shows that we are also on the right track in the area of sustainability,” says Klaus Deleroi, adding: “For us, the focus now is on continuing the measures we have started and further developing the relevant processes.”

EcoVadis offers sustainability ratings for companies. Its methodology takes international sustainability standards into account. It serves to assess companies’ sustainability management on the basis of uniform criteria.
